Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Not to worry – Lockport and its neighboring communities have plenty of activities to choose from. Whether you’re looking to stay in town or venture out, Will County will surely satisfy with its long list of offerings!
September 13th: 3rd Annual Bike & Dine
See what makes Lockport such a special town by participating in one of their most beloved traditions! Bike and Dine is a bike riding trip around the community that includes beautiful scenery and a delicious lunch (for fuel, of course!). Riders will meet at the South Public Landing Parking Lot and the Canal and participate in a guided ride for anywhere from two to fifteen miles. Riders of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to come along for the sights and fun time! Once the ride is completed, the event will conclude with a mouthwatering lunch at one of Lockport’s many eateries. Invite your loved ones to join you, or challenge friends to a friendly race! Either way, Bike & Dine is a great way to experience all that Lockport has to offer.

Tuesdays in October: Lemont's Farmers Market
Take a bite out of fall by checking out the latest selection at Lemont’s local Farmers Market! Located at the Talcott Square Parking Lot, the Market will feature four independent farmers and growers, all of whom will be boasting a wide selection of the season’s best. This time of year, goodies such as tomatoes, blackberries, beets, radishes, pickles, and apples are especially fresh, so shoppers will have plenty to choose from. In addition to edible treats, guests can also take home crafts, books, Tupperware, fresh cut flowers and other home goods from the many on-site vendors. With such a large selection, why go anywhere else? Stop by the Market today!
Partake in events such as these any time of the year by becoming a resident of Lago Vista, one of Lockport’s most coveted communities. This age-restricted community consists of buyers 55 or better who are interested in cultivating a vibrant, healthy, and stress-free lifestyle. These maintenance-free Single Family and Townhome models range from 1,500 to over 2,100 square feet and include two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two car garages, and an optional sunroom and/or den.
The clubhouse features indoor/outdoor pools, bocce ball courts, workout facilities, game rooms and more. |
